 Last weekend in the Sportcentrum Vlaardingen the 7th edition of the International MariFlex Open Darts Tournament was played. For this tournament, which are in the rankings of the British Darts Organisation (BDO), the World Darts Federation (WDF) and Zuiderduin Masters, the organizers of the Zuiderduin Masters made additional prizes available.
The winners of the men's and women's singles tournament and the best player of the singles tournament for boys receive also a ticket to participate Zuiderduin Masters from 6 to 8 December at Hotel Zuiderduin tin Egmond aan Zee.
Winner of the MariFlex Open men's tournament, the Englishman Stephen Bunting, already secured participation in the tournament. As the Zuiderduin Masters 2012 mens champion Stephen comes back in December to defend his title. Later this year, the organization will decide to whom the vacant place for the men's tournament will be assigned.
Deta Hedman also from England won the ladies tournament of the MariFlex Open. Deta is the second lady who is known to participate in the tournament. Anastasia Dobromyslova, champion of the Zuiderduin Masters 2012 women's tournament, comes also back to defend her title.
The ticket for the Zuiderduin Masters Youth 2013 tournament goes to the 14- year-old Colin Roelofs from Ochten Gelderland. Colin knocked out in the final Joe Davis from England (Zuiderduin Masters 2012 Youth participant) and therefore he makes his debut on the stage of the Zuiderduin Masters in December.
